MTG Super League helps playgroups, game stores and organizations run Magic leagues and events, and gets as many people as possible playing in them.

MTGSL started the way a lot of Magic tools start: someone running a league by hand and hating it. In my case it was a Sealed league. Pairings on paper, tiebreaker math on a calculator, card pools tracked in a notebook, and a group chat full of "who am I playing this week?" I was spending more time managing the league than playing in it.

So I built the thing I wished existed. First for my own Sealed leagues, then for the Commander nights, cEDH events, Canadian Highlander leagues and multi-day Majors that other organizers kept asking about. I still run leagues on MTGSL, and I write the guides on this site from that experience: what worked, what blew up, and what I'd tell an organizer before their first season.

If something in a guide is wrong, or you run an event MTGSL doesn't handle well yet, tell me in our Discord. A lot of what's in the product today started as exactly that kind of message.

What we care about

Scoring that matches real Magic

Swiss, tiebreakers, Commander pods and cEDH scoring should work the way experienced players and judges expect. If the standings are wrong, nothing else matters.

Every format, including the weird ones

Commander and cEDH, yes. Also Sealed, Draft, Canadian Highlander, and whatever house format your group plays on Thursdays.
